Scott Highsmith
Scott Highsmith is an American football coach. He was the third head football coach for the Belhaven College Blazers located in Jackson, Mississippi and he held that position for three seasons, from 2003〔(New York Times ) "Transactions" April 24, 2001〕 until 2005.〔(NCAA News )〕 His coaching record at Belhaven was 13 wins, 20 losses, and 0 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him second at Belhaven in total wins and fourth at Belhaven in winning percentage (.394).〔(Belhaven College coaching records )〕 He resigned in 2005 to take an assistant coaching position at Southeastern Louisiana University under his previous mentor Dennis Roland.〔(Columbia Daily Herald )〕
